Sunitor 184

Introduction:

Sunitor 184 is a versatile highly efficient Free Radical Type I non-yellowing phot oinitiator which is used to initiate the UV polymerization of chemically unsaturated pre-polymers (e.g. acrylates) in combination with mono- or multi-functional vinyl monomers and oligomers. 

Application:

l  Sunitor 184 is mainly used in UV curable clear coatings based on acrylates for paper, wood, metal and plastic materials. Sunitor 184 is especially recommended when UV coatings are required to exhibit only minimal yellowing even after prolonged exposure to sunlight.

l  Recommended concentration: 1.0-5.0%

l  Recommended applications:

Overprint varnishes, coating on plastics, wood coatings, adhesives, lithographic inks, silkscreen inks, flexo inks, electronics, etc.
